What We Need From You

  • The part and the build — make, model and year, and what it is replacing.
  • The drawing — 2D PDF or 3D STEP/IGES. We ask for it by email after your enquiry.
  • Material — Aluminium as standard; steel where the part needs it.
  • Finish and branding — the colour you want, and the logo file to be marked.
You do not upload anything to start. Send the requirement through the enquiry form; we reply by email and ask for exactly the files we need — nothing more.

The Measurements Worth Having Before Anything Is Cut

A tail loop is a one-way operation on most frames. These are the numbers to have in front of you before the saw comes out.

1. Where the rails end nowTube outside diameter and the cut line, measured from something that will still exist afterwards - the shock mount or the swingarm pivot - not from the tail itself.
2. The seat, or its bolt patternPan outline, fixing positions, and the height the trimmer needs underneath. A pan drawn from a photograph is a pan that comes back.
3. What has to live under the loopBattery box, ECU, regulator, harness takeoffs. Loop width is usually set by the widest of those, not by the tyre you want to show off.
4. Shock and spring clearanceCheck it at full compression, not at ride height. The loop and the pan cannot occupy the space the spring needs to travel through.
5. Tail light, plate and indicatorsSettle the rear-end layout now. Bosses added after the part is machined mean machining a second part.

If you already have the seat, send it or trace it. The pan outline is the one dimension that cannot be argued with later, and it is the cheapest thing to get right before the frame is cut.

Your Drawing Becomes the Part

This is the only thing we need to quote: the geometry. Everything else we settle with you by email.

What we will not do

We do not reproduce original equipment parts and we do not copy factory appearance. Every part is a generic structure built to your own design. Before production starts we ask for trademark authorisation for your mark and a non-infringement undertaking. No Mosvolt branding appears on the finished part.

Tail Loop & Seat Base Quick Answers

Yes. Send the frame rails, the seat you plan to run and how much drop you want at the back; we shape the loop and the pan to that. It is not a generic kit — the geometry comes from your frame. Submit the requirement and we ask for the drawing by email.

A 2D PDF or a 3D STEP/IGES. Submit the enquiry first and we will ask for the drawing by email — you do not need to upload anything to get a quote started.

Aluminium as standard, steel where the part needs it. Anodised in a colour matched to your brand where the material allows, with your logo laser-marked on the part.

Where a process does require tooling, it is quoted separately as its own line — never bundled into the unit price.

Priced per drawing and quantity — there is no list price for custom geometry. A sample is produced and charged at full rate, and it is not credited against the production order.

No. We do not reproduce original equipment parts and we do not copy factory appearance. Every part is a generic structure built to your own design, and we ask for trademark authorisation plus a non-infringement undertaking before production starts.

Other Directions We Build to Order

Same factory, same process. If your part is not a tail loop and seat base, it is probably one of these.

Images are representative renders of our manufacturing capability — every part is produced to your drawing and carries your brand.
