What We Can Change

Six things that make the part yours instead of a catalogue item.

Custom Peg & Brake Brackets, detail view

Peg height & setback

Where the peg sits is your call, not the catalogue's.

Mount pattern

To your frame's existing bolt pattern, or to a new one you specify.

Peg bore & spline

Matched to the peg or lever you are running.

Lever & pedal pivot

Pivot points placed for the linkage you use.

Master-cylinder clearance

Relief and mounting placed so the cylinder fits.

Finish & marking

Anodised to your colour, your logo laser-marked.

What We Need From You

  • The part and the bike — make, model and year, and what it is replacing.
  • The drawing — 2D PDF or 3D STEP/IGES. We ask for it by email after your enquiry.
  • Material — 6061-T6 billet aluminium as standard.
  • Finish and branding — the colour you want, and the logo file to be marked.
You do not upload anything to start. Send the requirement through the enquiry form; we reply by email and ask for exactly the files we need — nothing more.

Foot Position Changes the Pedal, Not Just the Peg

Moving a peg is the easy half. The half that bites is what the move does to the brake pedal you already have.

1. Where the peg lands nowMeasure the current peg centre from a fixed point on the frame, and take the height with the bike loaded - rider on it, fuel in it. A bracket worked out on an unladen bike sits higher than intended once it is ridden.
2. Pedal pivot and arm lengthPedal effort is a ratio between the pedal arm and the pushrod. Move the pivot and you have changed how hard the brake is to press, not just where your foot reaches.
3. Master-cylinder position and rod alignmentThe pushrod has to stay straight through its whole travel. A bracket that shifts the cylinder sideways side-loads that rod and wears the seal out.
4. Boot and lever clearanceOnce the peg moves back, the toe of your boot ends up where the lever used to be. Check it at full pedal travel with your own boot, not at rest.
5. Fixings that actually existSay whether your frame has a usable boss or whether the bracket has to clamp the tube - and what runs behind that tube, because the harness and the oil line are usually there.

The trap on cruiser builds is a bracket that fits the frame and the peg but leaves the pedal arm at an angle that drags the master cylinder. Send the pedal and the cylinder with the frame dimensions and the linkage gets settled on the drawing, where it is free to change.

Your Drawing Becomes the Part

This is the only thing we need to quote: the geometry. Everything else we settle with you by email.

What we will not do

We do not reproduce original equipment parts and we do not copy factory appearance. Every part is a generic structure built to your own design. Before production starts we ask for trademark authorisation for your mark and a non-infringement undertaking. No Mosvolt branding appears on the finished part.

Peg & Brake Brackets Quick Answers

Yes — that is the whole point. Tell us the bike and how high and how far back you want the pegs, and we machine the bracket to that position rather than to a catalogue number. Send the requirement and we ask for the drawing by email.

A 2D PDF or a 3D STEP/IGES. Submit the enquiry first and we will ask for the drawing by email — you do not need to upload anything to get a quote started.

6061-T6 billet aluminium as standard. Anodised in a colour matched to your brand, with your logo laser-marked on the part.

Where a process does require tooling, it is quoted separately as its own line — never bundled into the unit price.

Priced per drawing and quantity — there is no list price for custom geometry. A sample is produced and charged at full rate, and it is not credited against the production order.

No. We do not reproduce original equipment parts and we do not copy factory appearance. Every part is a generic structure built to your own design, and we ask for trademark authorisation plus a non-infringement undertaking before production starts.

Other Directions We Build to Order

Same factory, same process. If your part is not a peg and brake bracket, it is probably one of these.

Images are representative renders of our manufacturing capability — every part is produced to your drawing and carries your brand.
