Custom Conversion Triple Trees,
Fork A Into Frame B

Fork-conversion clamps for retro and cafe-racer builds — offset, stem length and bearing stack worked out so an unrelated fork actually fits your frame.

What We Can Change

Six things that make the part yours instead of a catalogue item.

Custom Conversion Triple Trees, detail view

Offset & trail

Set so the conversion still steers, not just fits.

Fork bore & spacing

To the donor fork you are fitting, not the original.

Stem length & taper

Matched to your frame's head tube and bearings.

Steering stops

Placed so the fork cannot hit your tank.

Cable & hose routing

Pockets and clips placed around the new fork.

Finish & marking

Anodised to your colour, your logo laser-marked.

What We Need From You

  • The part and the build — make, model and year, and what it is replacing.
  • The drawing — 2D PDF or 3D STEP/IGES. We ask for it by email after your enquiry.
  • Material — 6061-T6 as standard. 7075-T6 on request.
  • Finish and branding — the colour you want, and the logo file to be marked.
You do not upload anything to start. Send the requirement through the enquiry form; we reply by email and ask for exactly the files we need — nothing more.

A Fork Swap Is a Stack of Numbers, Not One

Two forks can share a tube diameter and still be incompatible. What has to line up is the stack from the axle up to the top nut.

1. The donor forkTube diameters, and the axle-to-crown length. If the new fork is longer, rake goes up and trail goes up with it, and the front end starts to feel heavy at walking pace.
2. Your frame head tubeInner diameter and the distance between the two bearing seats. This end is fixed - everything else in the stack adapts to it.
3. The bearing stackEither keep your frame's bearings and adapt the stem to them, or convert the frame's seats to the donor's bearings. Both are drawings, and you should pick one before we quote.
4. Stem, taper and threadThe stem either stays with the donor fork or gets replaced. Replacing it takes the top nut and the preload arrangement with it, so those are part of the same decision.
5. Steering stopsA wider or longer fork reaches the tank before the original stops do. The stops are machined into the lower tree and where they land depends on your frame, not the fork.
6. What the swap drags behind itThe caliper mounts move with the fork, so the brake side quietly becomes an adapter question. Fender and hose routing follow the same way.

Offset is the number people skip. Machining a little offset out of the tree is usually cheaper than living with a front end that has to be steered rather than ridden - so tell us the trail you are trying to land on, not only the tube size.

Your Drawing Becomes the Part

This is the only thing we need to quote: the geometry. Everything else we settle with you by email.

What we will not do

We do not reproduce original equipment parts and we do not copy factory appearance. Every part is a generic structure built to your own design. Before production starts we ask for trademark authorisation for your mark and a non-infringement undertaking. No Mosvolt branding appears on the finished part.

Conversion Triple Trees Quick Answers

If you have the geometry, yes. Tell us the frame, the donor fork and the wheel you are running, and we machine upper and lower clamps with the offset and stem that make that combination steer properly. Send the requirement first and we ask for the drawing by email.

A 2D PDF or a 3D STEP/IGES. Submit the enquiry first and we will ask for the drawing by email — you do not need to upload anything to get a quote started.

6061-T6 billet aluminium as standard, 7075-T6 on request. Anodised in a colour matched to your brand, with your logo laser-marked on the part.

Where a process does require tooling, it is quoted separately as its own line — never bundled into the unit price.

Priced per drawing and quantity — there is no list price for custom geometry. A sample is produced and charged at full rate, and it is not credited against the production order.

No. We do not reproduce original equipment parts and we do not copy factory appearance. Every part is a generic structure built to your own design, and we ask for trademark authorisation plus a non-infringement undertaking before production starts.

Other Directions We Build to Order

Same factory, same process. If your part is not a conversion triple tree, it is probably one of these.

Images are representative renders of our manufacturing capability — every part is produced to your drawing and carries your brand.
